Family Involvement Centers - Together We Succeed
Success By Design Initiative is a partnership between Duval county Public Schools and the Florida Institute of Education (FIE) that creates a Neighborhood Learning Network (NLN) which connects the Parent Involvement Centers, families, schools, and neighborhood agencies.
Our Vision
Our vision is to increase and strengthen parent/family and school partnerships.
The Title I Parent Involvement Centers, parents, and community agencies will work cooperatively to ensure that students become productive and responsible citizens.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower families to support their children’s cognitive development, social-emotional development, and healthy behaviors to be successful in life. We will accomplish our mission by:
- informing parents about NCLB regulations
- informing parents of their rights concerning their children’s education
- involving parents in local Title I decisions
- supporting literacy, math, and science learning
- encouraging active parent participation at the school throughout their children’s education and
- providing workshops for parents to help with learning at home
